Post Copy'n Paste of Jobs Reply with quote

Hi,
is there a way to copy and paste jobs in 24x7 suite ?
Sometimes it is very painful the create new jobs from scratch if there exits
one and only 1 job parameter is different.
May be there are some internal tricks or am I too dump to find it in the GUI ??

Thanks in advance.

There is an option to create a job from another job which is a sort of "copy'n paste" method.
Click the New Job button in 24x7. The Job Properties Wizard will appear. Click the "copy properties of another job" blue link displayed on the bottom of the wizard window in step 1.

Just in case... If you need to create a large number of similar jobs the best method is to create a new job template and then create jobs from this template. Tools/Template Wizard tool can be used for that purpose. The variable parameters can be specified on the job template level as interactive prompts.
