I can't seem to get 24x7 scheduler to run as a service. When i choose to run it as a service from the option menu and local system account the service seems to start up, but none of the jobs run at the scheduled time. When I check the event log I get the following message.

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( 24x7Service ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: 24x7Service: 997, 24x7 service stop requested..

Any help?

Do you run registered or evaluation version?

Do you have "Allow service to interact with the Desktop" option checked in the service settings (Control Panel)?
