I'm trying to schedule a program execution with the main 24x7 GUI. I can create the job, and schedule it sucessfully with the main GUI (explicitly saving the job db). The problem I'm having is that the job will only start if I leave the 24x7 scheduler GUI open. If I close the GUI and start the windows service, or keep the service running whilst I create the job, it doesnt excecute.

Is the trial version limited to only GUI executed jobs (not Windows Service executed jobs) ?
How do I know which job database the Windows Service is using ?

Run trial version service under LocalSystem account with the Enable Service to interact with the Desktop option enabled.

If you do not do so the service will not load and will shown an invisible Trial Version Mode waiting for you to respond.

It is always using the last opened job database file.

When the service starts do you see the Evaluation Reminder dialog?
