Post Remote Control - log update interval Reply with quote

Hello again...

I have a tech support guy using 24x7 Remote Control
and it seems that when you first start the Remote
Control, you have to press the "refresh" button
near the upper right corner of the screen to see
current log entries. The hint for the button says
"Refresh job log view for the selected job."
Okay, good enough...but when we try subsequent
refreshes, nothing happens. We have to shut the
Remote Control down and restart it and then
press refresh again. Does this happen for you,
or is this an "undocumented feature" :-).

Please advise.

When you connect to 24x7 Scheduler or Agent the Remote Control downloads copies of log files from the remote. The refresh button simply reloads displayed file from the local disk file.
If you want to refresh local files you have to reconnect to the remote. This can be done using "File/Attach to Remote" menu item without shutting down the Remote Control completely.
