Post Is it possible to run a script as another user? Reply with quote

Is it possible? I want to run JAL as another user, but don't get the option to select another account when I choose "script" as the job type.

Thanks in advance.

You can run it using 24x7 /JOB command as you would run Notepad or any other process in this case you can use any valid user account

To do that create 2 jobs: job A containing the script and job B of program type to execute job A. Job A should have [no schedule] and job B should have the actual schedule of job A.
