: non-secure FTP protocol depend on certain Windows system functions which
: are exposed via WinInet API.
: Windows systems with Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.01 and 5.5 have a bug that may
: cause 24x7 to return incorrect year for files residing on a UNIX-based FTP
: server.

: The impact of this bug could be seen in FTPFileDateTime, SyncFTPDir and
: CompareFTPDir operations. Moreover, as a result of the incorrect year bug,
: FTP based file replication can cause unnecessary file processing. : 24x7 version 3.4.3 and earlier automatically corrects the year. However this
: leads to other problems of its own nature when the system features
: Internet Explorer 6.0.
: Starting with version 3.4.4 it will no longer perform such auto-correction.
: The new configuration parameter "FTP YEAR BUG" has been
: introduced to allow turning on/off this auto-correct feature. This feature
: is now turned off by default. : 2. The new version features new set of parameters for file date/time handling
: in FTP upload and replication operations. These parameters are optional.
