This indicates that the Queue Manager was unable to uncompress the definition of a queued job. Job definitions are compressed to save space and submitted to the queue by the Job engine. I've never seen this error before. I think you are experiencing one of the following: 1. Running out of disk space 2. The system environment variable block is getting corrupted by one of the processes (lost TEMP variable or the system does not report properly name directory for temp. files) 3. Having problems with temporary files or disk errors 4. System cannot allocate sufficient memory for uncompress operation. I suggest to cleanup the TEMP directory and then restart the computer. If that does not help please let us know. : I basically monitor our 24x7 program which is : managing a number of jobs, however i noticed that a : number of error messages appeared with the following. : Do these messages indicate anything serious? In any : case i'd like to know what i can do to prevent these : errors. : JQ001 Queue Manager Error #-3 (uncompress) while processing job #83; id in : queue 18 : JQ001 Queue Manager Error #-3 (uncompress) while processing job #81; id in : queue 19 : Thanks : DB
