OK, so please explain the line of code in the "FTP Download" sample:
"c:\\temp\disclaimer.txt"
This only uses the double back slashes for the first instance but not the others and then why does "b:\\Data\downloads\mito.nt.Z" this work?

This is not a very good example, but it will work. "\\t" translates to regular "\t" pair or chracters. The first back-slash indicates that the second back-slash is a regular characters and not an escape symbol for "t"

If you specify "c:\temp\disclaimer.txt" in run-time it will be translated to "c:[tab character here]emp\disclaimer.txt"

This has nothing to do with the position within the text.
