Rather than running 24x7 in the agent mode on the remote server run it as the scheduler in the master mode then you can create jobs that will run on start up. Of you course you will need to make sure that 24x7 itself will start on the server start up. You can still use it to run your remote jobs. : Hello, : Operating Enviroment: 24x7 automation Suite 3.3.2 : Windows 2000 SP2 Master Scheduler : Windows NT 4.0 SP6 Remote Agent : Question: When we occassionally have the Agent server rebooted there are : certain processes that need to be run. There is a 24x7 Scheduler startup : event for jobs and I was wondering if I could use that with the Remote : Agent. If the agent can't start a job like that is there another way have : the remote server run the processes on startup? : I guess that I could have the server run something outside of the scheduler : but I don't want to do that if I don't have to but will if needed. : Thank you, : John
