Post Executing Jobs on Remote Agent Reply with quote

I have 3 desktops that I set up in application mode. I am able to send jobs to them successfully.

I then set the 3 desktops to run in remote agent mode running as a service, reboot, and then none of them work.

I am able to go to the master and get a successful connection from the remote agents list for all 3 desktops running in either mode.

I then set them back to run as an application and everything works again.

I can flip back and forth between service and application mode to reproduce the problem.

While running in remote agent mode as a service i can type "netstat -a" and see the service listening on port 1096... All looks good from both sides. There are no errors in the master log and nothing in the remote agents log.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike Niccum

Do you mean you cannot establish a successful connection?

If yes, make sure you use proper account for the service. Don't use LocalSystem which is not allowed to access any network resources.
