I have 24x7 2.0 running as an NT service. I tried uninstalling 2.0 but the process doesn't remove the service. When I install 24x7 3, I can't run it as a service. I get the following error:

Error 1073 - The specified service already exists.

How do I remove the 2.0 service?

You had to uninstall the service using 24x7 Tools/Options/Service menu before uninstalling the software.

Anyway, the service can removed directly from the registry. Just remote the entire key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\24x7 Scheduler

You will need to restart your computer after that.
