There is no way to start Notes client before someone logons to the machine. The workaround that many people use is to send email using SMTP interface in 24x7. You Lotus Notes server supports STMP gateway. Contact your Notes administrator for details on how to do it. : I have the automation suite configured with Lotus Notes as mail client. At : reboot, the scheduler service is started automatically. I also require it : to send an email. At this, point no mail can be sent since it is required : to enter the Notes ID password. So until someone logs on and enters the : password in the dialog box, no mail can be sent by the scheduler. I even : tried starting up the notes client at reboot but with no success. : Since I have a lot of jobs scheduled with mail being sent, I need them to : work after a reboot without having to log on to the server. : Can you help? Thanks : Nick
