That's weird. All that button is supposed to do is to save the profile information in the registry. That's it. The button should be enabled and should take just a fraction of a second for the work unless you have some registry problems. Anyway, if you can create new profile using Tools/Remote Agents, use it. It is the same thing. When you run the Remote Control just pick the previously created profile. : If I access the Remote Host Profile from within the 24x7.exe running as a : scheduler then I can create new connections. If I open up the 24x7.exe : running as remote control then if I click on the NEW button I can enter : the connection information and the Test connection and cancel buttons work : but the OK button does not work. By not work I mean that you can click on : the OK button (it is enabled) but it just depresses and does not do : anything. : If this is the correct functionality of the program (you can't create new : connections at that point) then the NEW button on the Remote console : startup dialog should be disabled. : John
