Post quote site FTP command Reply with quote

It was indicated in an earlier posting that "quote site" could not be accomplished using JAL, and Telnet statements could be used instead. Does anyone have an example of this? I'm trying to set the LRECL before using the FTPPutFile.

Thanks!

You can mix together Telnet and FTP statements, but they will work as if there are two separate sessions opened on the host, one is Telnet session and another is FTP session. Does it matter?

BTW: There are several examples available in the on-line help for Telnet operations.

I only have FTP access, not Telnet.

Since you don't have Telnet access, you have no real choice. You either should create command line FTP script (run "FTP -?" for details, see "-s" option) and schedule it or if the script contents is dymamic create a script type job that builds the FTP script dinamicaly, saves it as a file and then executes it.
