Post MAPI Settings on remote machine ? Reply with quote

I have a problem with sending mails (via JAL) on a remote agent:
If i run the job on the local (scheduler) machine it works fine. Running the script on a remote machine, the Outlook Mail window comes up and i have to click on SEND to proceed. On my local machine this only happens when i have set the MAPI settings (send email using receipient) to "address". When running the scheduler on the remote machine it works also fine. Seems to me, that the remote client is not using the MAPI settings in the same way the scheduler is doing it ... ? Is that possible ? Does someone have a clue ?

Yes ! That works ...
But i may have to send a LOT of mails, and i would like to stay in touch with the process to see if everything works.

What do you mean by "stay in touch with the process"?

You can setup the job to send you an email message or page you if the job fails. You can also use the Windows NET command to send a network message to yourself (or notify certain group of people).

I have to step through a file (via JAL-script) containing a list of email addresses and have to send an email with attachment to every address which is "marked" by a certain value field. Because this can be a HUGE list, i would like to run the JAL-script synchronous to be sure that every SendMailWithAttachment statement has been REALLY sent.
