We are working on the new version 2.3.0 that sould be available by the end of this month. This version will support "*" and "?" wildcards characters for both the subject and the text. It will also allow the "email watch" job to obtain the full text for the subject and the message in the email message as well as the names of attached files, if any. Wildcards characters should also help in receiving messages with attachments as some email programs alter original message text to include some marks for attachments. : We have progressed on this issue but are still not there. : If we define a job to watch mail with subject X and text Y and to save : attachments, 24X7 recognize mail with the "exact" subjet and : text. However if we attach a file to the previous mail, it does not : recognize it as a valid mail, let alone save the file in the c:\temp : directory. : Is there anyway of using "wild" characters? or getting 24X7 to look : for text that begins with "Y"?. : Yesterday I sent a mail with no attachment that works and the mail with : attachment that does not work for your scrutiny?
