I have followed the steps mentioned in the User Guide but still getting the same error mentioned earlier to you.
I would very helpful if you send the steps to configure it. We waiting for your early response.
Regards.

It is specifically failing during the SQL restart step even though it has all the permission it required.

Please do not confuse installing DB Audit Management Console and installing auditing. The console can be installed anywhere as long as it can connect to the database server. The console is used to install auditing on the server and to run reports and other interactive tools.

The auditing itself happens on the server. It is server-side auditing. Don't be fooled by other so called "auditing" methods. Only server side auditing is SOX compliant because only server-side auditing can capture all connections to the database whether they are network based, local shared memory based, local pipes, encrypted or unencrypted, - they all can be audited.

Now, the auditing for SQL Server is part of the SQL Server instance, the process is run by the account running your SQL Server instance and with permissions of that account. As long as that account has sufficient access level to the audit repository database, you should be fine.

DBPROCESS is dead or not enabled - this is a result of the server restarting. When you restarted the server, console's connection to the database got terminated.. You can simply reconnect and ignore that message

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883732
This MS page explains the issue. Basically your cluster is not setup correctly.

As for DB Audit, yes, it is compatible, but you must install it on both Nodes.
