It gives statistics, graphical configuration display, monitoring, and change trends. It does not read the binary contents of logs. Reading contens is a bad idea. You may find a program or make one that cracks the undocumented log structure, but the same program may not work with the next version of Oracle. If you want to see/audit data changes or have an option to recover changes, take a look at dbAudit. : Does the "Redo Log Analyzer" actually show what is in the redo logs : or just give you statistics about the logfile or both? I am looking for : something that will actually read the binary logfile back into memory and : tell me what is there. Any suggestions? : Jon
