Post Graph en Report output Reply with quote

I'm working with Oracle Monitor for some time and find the following very strange:
"When I'm viewing or printing a graph or a report the headers won't display on the screen or printer.
Also the graph output is very distorted.
Another point is that when I'm printing a report on another printer, Oracle monitor sets that printer as the default printer."
Is there a solution to those problems?

The headers disappear when you print a color graph on black and white (B&W) printer. Most graphs have black background for better viewing. By default on print the graph background is modified to be white so it can be printed on (B&W) printer. As a side effect the white headers become invisible.

The solution is to use a color printer and in the OMS Options disable graph color change on print.

As for the distortion, all graphs are optimized for viewing. Most of them always take the whole screen viewable area or the whole page (this is by design). Therefore, if you use 800x600 screen resolution (1.33 ratio between X and Y) and print to "letter" size paper "Portrait" orientation 8.5 x 11 inch, you have 0.8 ratio, so that on paper that graph appears distorted. So here is the workaround to improve the quality of output, change your print settings to use "Landscape" orientation (1.28 ratio).

Last used printer remains as default printer, this is by design.
