I have downloaded your software from the site and now I am installing it on my Sun Solaris 2.6 Server with Oracle 7.3.4 but I am not able to do so ?? Does this software runs on UNIX Servers or it is exclusively for DOS platforms.

It's Windows 95/98/NT/2000 compatible software (client side) that can connect to ANY Oracle 7.x/8.x database server running on ANY platform (UNIX, Windows NT, VMX, etc.)

What should be filled in Profile and DBMS options while running db Monitor. I am not able to connect via this. However I can connect to the database by SQL*Plus. What happens is that it firsts starts the Local Database and then says Database not available. ORA - 01017 Invalid username/password logon denied. Please help me install the software. I am giving O73 ORACLE 7.3 in DBMS while in Profile I am picking Production.

For the profile just enter any meaningfull name that you can use to quickly choose desired connection parameters next time you connect to your database. This is very convinient when you have multiple connections because it saves your time and you don't have to remember them.

For the Oracle 7.3 client make sure to specify "@" (at sign) in fornt of the host string.
