|
User File disappeared and Web console is malfunctioning |

OK so where do i begin...I logged into our 24x7 server today to check the "users" file and the file was gone, nowhere to be found... i thought that's weird so i logged into TST and the file was there but not in PRD...strange..
So i opened the 24x7 console using the desktop icon, then i opened the users from the desktop app and its coming up blank. weird....
So then i login to the web console and everything is blank!! Theres no job DB loading!
However if i launch 24x7 via the desktop console the jobs show up and they are running fine....
Someone please help!
Edit: now the users file is back but its got a timestamp of 10/20/2023 (i havent edited it today) and now its BLANK!

So its working again after copying the TST user file to PRD
What i dont understand is how the user file got deleted/blanked out

The users file is a read-only file, which the console never updates. If that file is gone, the console treats everyone as a guest, and by default guests cannot see anything.
