Post Where is the Format Code option, on the SA menu? Reply with quote
Hi,

I'm able to format a given SELECT via the hot key Ctrl-F11. But I don't see it on the menu.

It looks like the current manual refers to an older version. It puts the "Format Code" option under "Check Spelling". But it's not there, in the current version 12.

Hi,

The menu layout and hot keys depend on your development platform, they may vary depending on the environment to avoid/minimize conflicts. For example, in SQL Editor the formatting commands in the right-click menu are at the top level while in some other environments they're under SQL Assistant menu. The menu layout can be also customized in the Options, it's not fixed.

Just in case, by default Ctrl+Shift+F1 enables selecting formatting style to apply in case you use multiple styles for different kinds of code.

Ok, thanks. I see it in the parent menu. I was looking only in the Sql Assistant menu.

All good, thanks.
