I guess you attempted to enable system audit and got this error. During the installation it needs to save some settings in the system registry on the server side and the account running SQL Server is unable to do that. The events near the server restart time. There should be some error and warning messages indicating why the auditing is unable to start. The server-side authentication level policy does not allow the user ************ from address ******* to activate DCOM server. Please raise the activation authentication level at least to RPC_C_AUTHN_LEVEL_PKT_INTEGRITY in client application.
