When Ctrl+clicking the table name in an UPDATE statement, SA incorrectly tries to fetch the data from a table with the name of the column in the SET part instead of the actual table name given in the UPDATE part. On the other hand, clicking the column retrieves the data in that column so it seems that SA can correctly decode the table name, it simply does not use it when clicking the table name.

Check this short video here.

UPDATE: also applies to INSERT statements;

Quick question, is this issue reproducible with standalone SQL statements which are not within procedural code?

Yes, it is. It also seems irrelevant what's in the SET part. My last observation is that it always uses the name of the first column instead of the table name.
