[11.3.279 Pro] - FR: tags and colors on Syntax Bar |
The User Guide states:
SQL Assistant automatically scans scripts loaded into SQL and recognizes comments containing the
following substrings.
TO DO
TODO
BUG
HACK
and that
Blue marks on the Syntax Bar indicate the location of tags within the script
That works perfectly, and I guess that if those are hardwired into the it would be too much fuss to make them user-configurable, but I really think that a few additional tags could come in handy, namely INFO, WARNING, and ERROR. Also, while the Syntax Bar tooltip for the tag BUG shows an uppercase BUG: regardless of the tag in the comment being in lower or upper case, the same is not done for tags TODO and HACK.
By the way, the context menu on Syntax Bar says Indicator Bar. Are those two terms referring to the same object?
Furthermore, everything on the Syntax Bar is blue. Well, everything (todo, bug, and hack tags, region comments) except the warnings the Syntax Check issues. Those are gray. Could you display those in different colors, please? Showing all those in the same color makes it hard to orient yourself in the clutter.
