export 24x7 database to excel or other non-datbase format |
|
Forgive me if this question has been answered before. I did a search but didn't find it. How may I export 24x7 database to excel or other non-datbase format (csv, txt, et al) since my AIX SAS servers don't have any Oracle/DB2/SQL/Access database. The "tools/export job database" approach requires one of above database. I can use "cons.sh" to list all jobs with job folders, but it is also important for me to get command line information for job script and path.
Thanks.
Xiaobo.

There is no built-in function for that, but you can probably script it yourself. There is a job template in the Maintenance section to export job properties to a database. If you use it as a basis and create a job from that, you can modify it to write data to a flat file.
