SQL Assistant 6.4 is available for testing |
|
Hi All,
SQL Assistant version 6.4 is now available for a very limited time for private testing and preview. We invite all existing licensed users to give it a try. Because of the dependency on the existing license, only licensed users can run the new version. Please contact support to obtain a download link.
We value your feedback and suggestions. Please notify us as soon as possible if you encounter any compatibility issues, problems with upgrading from previous versions, or any other issue you may come across.
Here are the new major features in 6.4 release
1. Multi-server multi-database Code Search and Replace
2. Cross-server and cross database Data Compare. Yep, you can compare your data for differences after migrating it from one server to another, even if the servers are of different types.
And as always, a bunch of of minor enhancements and bug fixes.
Sincerely,
The SoftTree team

* New extension for $COLUMNS$ macro (non-key columns)

The compare code function is great.
If I might suggest an added feature.
When bringing up the compare window, let the drop down select your SCS repo and whichever revision numbers might be pertinent to that table/sproc/func.
