Options dialog differences depending on how it's opened |
|
Ok, I know I'm posting a TON. But I'm trying to get used to this tool so I can justify buying it in 13 days now.
Some of these things are bugs, maybe(?).. some are questions obv.
If I'm in SSMS and go to SQL Assistant in the menu bar or right click context and select options:
If I right click the systray icon and go to options
One has apply, the other does not?

This is by design. The first one is specific to SSMS addon, if you change anything will update settings in the current SSMS session without reloading anything. The systray version is global, if you change anything, it would disconnect and reload all targets. Use that one with targets that don't support SA's addons and plugins.

That's kind of what I thought. You never know though. I just went to go apply a setting when bringing options up in SSMS and thought apply was missing. So I went looking.
