Post Questions on the depency editor Reply with quote
Hello,

I have two question about dependencies:

1/ Is-it possible to have the dependency editor use the "Run another job" event instead of a semaphore file when creating dependencies ?

2/ Is there a way to have a graphical, "dependency editor"-like view of the currently running jobs, their states and if a job has failed, where in the list of dependent jobs the execution flow is stopped ?

Best regards

No, it is not possible. "Run another job" is not a dependency type job linkage. It is a sort of hard coded-link making 2 jobs to run as one process

This sounds like a very interesting idea. 24x7 currently doesn't support that. Perhaps that enhancement can be implemented in a future version.

Thank you.
