SQL Assistant version 6.0 public BETA available

You can use Notepad or Wordpad to edit your queries (they come for free with every Windows system :) )
Please check SQL Assistant options, see DB Options tab ->DB Queries group -> Context queries. You will see how the default schema is calculated, and if needed, you can modify that query and set it to return whatever you want as the default schema name.

Yes, I read further down in the documentation, and it did mention adding the Shift. I did so, and I got the SQL Assistant window up.

However, when I started typing:

Additionally, when I highlight a statement and execute it, it returns an error that says:

Executing selected queries... Please wait or close this tab to cancel execution.
Msg 2812, Level 16, State 62, Could not find stored procedure 'u'.
The command(s) completed with errors (0.58 ms).

In other words, it tries to execute the first character as a stored procedure.

I think no. We are readying the retail version for release. Hope to see it released this week. Please stay tuned.

So we have to reinstall the old version to keep working while we wait?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please disable or uninstall the beta version. Your previous version is still installed and intact. You simply need to start it manually
