The are not deleted. There is no automatic upgrade for the settings from version 4 to version 6. However, you can use Import/Export button in SQL Assistant Options dialog to import settings, including code snippets from previous versions. Here is that I suggest to do. Open the Options dialog, click Import/Export, browse to the folder 4.x in which your previous version stores settings, select SqlAssist.sas file, unselect everything except snippets, click OK.
Just a warning, do not import all options from version 4, otherwise these old incompatible settings will overwrite and disable many new features available in more recent versions.
