Run as - account password change. |
|
Hi,
Please could you clarify what would happen to job execution when the password of a account used as a "Run As" account is changed ?
Would the jobs continue to run ? or fail with Authentication failure ?
Would I have to modify each job that uses the "Run As" option to specify the new password ?
Environment: Red Hat Linux 5.3, 24x7 Scheduler Multi-Platform ver 4.3 build 293, Java 1.5.0_22
Regards Mike

The job should fail to run because the system wouldn't be able to authenticate the user process. The specific error message in such case is operation system type and version dependent.
