Auto Add Aliases |
|
I love the "Auto Add Aliases" feature. It works great. However, there are some tables I was to change the default. For example, If I have a table named OrderHeader it will use OH. Is there anyway to change just that table to use O ?

I'm afraid this is not customizable.
Just in case, the logic for generating aliases is the following:
If a name is case sensitive, pick capital letters and use them together.
If a name is not case-sensitive but contains underscores or spaces, pick first letters of each word.
Otherwise just pick the first letter.
If the generated alias is already used, add unique number to the end.
As you can see, to make it generate "o" alias instead of "oh", you would need to rename "OrderHeader" to "orderheader" which I don't think you would wont to do.
