Post Job Queues not appearing in Remote Control Reply with quote
I added job queues via the standalone 24x7 on the server where it's installed. I saved the job database and restarted the 24x7 service.

Afterward, I logged into that server's service instance of 24x7 via Remote Control. The job queues that I added do not appear. Only the default queue appears.

Hello,

Are you using Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) or a Terminal server? Are there other people using them and also working with 24x7?
If you made changes using RDP, your changes might be gone after you logoff (undone by Windows).
In case multiple instances of 24x7 are running in different terminal sessions, when connecting using Remote Control you might be hitting wrong instance.

Job queues aren't stored in the job database. They are created as folders and files in the file system and their definitions (location/size) are stored in the system registry. You can al check them here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SoftTree Technologies, Inc.\24x7 Scheduler\3.0\Queues

Do you use the same user account to run the service and to start 24x7 in standalone application mode?

I run the windows service using Local Service, but work with the 24x7 standalone application using a windows login.

Please check that Windows login has permissions to read/write from the specified registry branch.

As long as queue definitions appear in the registry, they should be "visible" to the scheduler and so be visible to the Remote Control.
