The message is Connection to 'wrxxhegfins01\sqlexpress' failed DBMS MSS in not supported in your current installation As I indicated above, sqlexpress (microsoft sql express) is installed on the same server and I am able to connet to it through other tools including crystal reports Sat Jan 12, 2008 5:07 pm SysOp Site Admin Joined: 26 Nov 2006 Posts: 7969 You need to have SQL Server's DBLibrary client, which is not provided with SQL Express. Use ODBC interface instead.
