web-based Management Console |

Where do I find information on activating and using the web-based Management Console? Can't seem tofind an option for it on our scheduler.

The server part built into the scheduler, it is activated when you enable "server" mode in the Tools/Options menu; Network tab
The client part - the console itself normally comes with the site license. There are two types of the console: NET/ASP compatible version for IIS web server or JSP compatible version for Apache Tomcat and other java-based servers.

We currently do not have server mode enabled. Is it safe to turn on this option with existing jobs or are there potential issues. This is a production server with hundreds of Jobs, I don't want to disrupt the service or effect it in any way.

Turning on this feature is save and it has nothing to do with job processing. Connecting and setting up the console is a different matter.
It is always a good idea to try things first in a QA/test environment if such is available. Better be safe then sorry.
