Feature Request: Ctrl+Arrow moves cursor not for popup nav. |
|
Basically if you use Ctrl+Arrow it navigates the text of the query window rather than the popup window.
Scenario:
Assume you start with this query
Select a.Field2 + a.Field3 + a.Field4
From dbo.Table
Now you want to change the + to a comma. Start with a.Field, place a comma. The popup shows, as is correct. However typing ctrl+right navigates the popup translating to a right arrow only. If instead you close the popup and pass through the ctrl-right, you would get to the + and be able to delete it.

This is by design, Ctrl+Arrows as well as some other keys are used by the popup to navigate list. To dismiss the popup, press Esc key right after the comma, then use Ctrl+Right Arrow

How is the navigation different between ctrl-arrow and just the arrow? It seems to do the exact same thing. By removing the ctrl navigation, you haven't lost any function.

Currently, Home and End, including Ctrl+ combinations are passed to the editor, all other navigation keys are processed within the popup
