24x7 closes itself unexpectedly after running
several days. It can still be seen in the system
trayas normak but it is not working actually.

24x7 Scheduler Version : 3.4.3.

1. 3.4.3 is very old. Try upgrading to a more recent version 3.4.26 http://www.softtreetech.com/download/247upg.exe

Do I need to backup anything in the old version?
Does the upgrade include all the jobs in the old 24x7
Scheduler?

I don't want to lose my current jobs and other
settings.

It is always a good idea to have a fresh backup before installing any upgrades.

The upgrade can be run on top of the existing installation. All your current jobs and settings will be preserved.
