I have just downloaded version 3.4.21 and upgraded my scheduler. I was asked to do this to test the new features and bug fixes.

I tried testing out the normal button in the enhancement made to the Run Now command. The job is a JAL script with 3 lines: a comment describing the job as a research job, a blank line, and a message box to display "Hello World".

Each time I run it using the test button, it runs fine. When I run it using the normal button, the job runs and completes, but the 24x7 status pop-up window never goes away. I have to kill the scheduler in the task manager to exit.

I have tried every combination of async/sync and detached/not detached, but that doesn't help.

Have I just found a bug with your new feature?

Sound like a bug. Please disable "Job Status Display Enabled" option in Tools/Options menu; Log tab page; Debug options. Use "Trace Enabled" or Job Queue Monitor for job monitoring.

I'm not sure how much we use the Job Status Display, but it looks like a helpful feature. If you could fix this bug, it would be a great help. Thank you.

It will be fixed in the next build.

Anyway, please don't use this option in production environment. This option has a number of deficiencies and should be used for debugging only.
