When an error occur in a job we receving
an e-mail like this:

Object:Message from 24x7 Scheduler
Message: Job 'Job Name' execution error

occurred on June 3, 2004 11:00:02 am.

See job log for details.

Can I change this default object and/or message?

You cannot change the default message but you can use the "run script" notification action triggered in error events instead of "send email." In the script you can do anything you want, including sending emails with custom messages

to think about all kind of errors.

You can create a generic user defined function in the Script library and call it from all jobs. That function would read the last line of schedule.log file (or NT event log if event logging is enabled) and send an email messages in the format you want. In job notification scripts you would simply paste or type 1 line something like

MyErrorNotification(@V"job_id")
