Try using BindCPU utility to bind jobs to individual processors. This utility should help you to to solve job concurrency problems. Here is the link http://www.softtreetech.com/24x7/script.htm : Any ideas on why, when I run 24x7 on a quad procesor Xeon system, the jobs do : not all complete? : I have 20 jobs cascading to launch one another on Finish or Error. They run : fine on my Pentium 4 single processor system; but when I run them on my : quad-Xeon machine I get skipped processes, the processes aren't completely : skipped, because they launch the next one, but there are no log entries to : tell me whether they have even run, and the job has not produced the : desired output. I have left logging enabled. I have even tried to use the : LogAddMessageEx command, nothing shows up in the log--not even a start : job/end job message. : Is 24x7 not interacting correctly with the OS in a multi-processor : configuration? I don't know. I know 24x7 is waiting to get notification : back from the operating system for some jobs, but even if I run : synchronous this happens. : I am at a loss. I will not be able to use 24x7 if this problem persists. I : have to find something that will work on my multi-processor system. : I have tried so many things with 24x7 that work on the single CPU system, but : fail miserably in the multi-processor environment. : I think any reasonable explanation will give me hope.
