I have been reading through the lotus posts and have yet to find one that solves my problem. When I try to run a job that sends an email message I get the following error box:

An error occured while executing automation script.
Line 9: Error 2147484163 sending email message - Severety: No error, Error:.
Continue testing this job?

I am running the newest 24x7 with lotus notes 5.0.8 on a Windows 2000 machine. I edited my win.ini file and added the following as well:
[LotusMail]
Application=Notes
Program=c:\lotus\notes\notes.exe
The line after this contains my encrypted login.

I also copied three dll's from my notes installation directory into the 24x7 directory to stop dll not found errors that crashed the entire program. THose files were Nnotes.dll, js32.dll, and nlsccstr.dll. I also checked my notes.ini and did not find an EXTENSION_ADDINS line.

If anyone knows how to fix this I would be grateful.

This usually indicates logon error or invalid recipient address. How do you specify recipients address?

Have you tried using your name instead of email address for the recipient? If yes, do you get the same error number or a different error?

Yes I have tried that and I get the same error. I have also tried using the following for the recipient:
cjuno
cjuno.id
Chris Juno
Chris_Juno
Chris_Juno/ouroffice/ourbranch/concentra@concentra

Please check again that in your notes.ini file you have EXTMGR_ADDINS key.

In the 24x7 Tools/Options select MAPI as an email interface restart 24x7 and then in the Tools/Options change back to Lotus Notes. THis will reinstall the 24x7 Lotus Notes extension manager DLL and settings.

Please also make sure you have Notes installation directory in the system pass

To check that from the DOS command line type PATH and then press enter. The Notes directory should in the list.
