You cannot install "agent only" because it is not a separate piece of software. It is a different run-time mode with the application server portion enabled and scheduling engine disabled. A little more background 1. "24x7 Scheduler" regular run mode = scheduling engine + client
2. "24x7 Scheduler" Master mode (server option turned on) = scheduling engine + client + server
3. "24x7 Remote Agent" = client + server
4. "24x7 Remote Control" = client (with GUI) Thare are actually exist other pieces involved in the job processing. More on this can be found in the "Overview" topic in the on-line help. See "24x7 Scheduler Architecture" section and chart. Also check out properties of the 24x7 Scheduler, 24x7 Remote Agent and 24x7 Remote Control shortcuts in the Windows Start menu. They all point to the same executable, only command line parameters are different. : Ditto...I'm having the same issue.
