Code Validate Option Unavailable

I have been developing with a licensed version of 24X7 V3.1.0 for some time now, however just recently, I am unable to check the syntax of my code.

I know it sounds odd, but when I am in the syntax editor for .JAL scripts, the validate syntax button is grey/unavailable.

I have tried restarting the app a few times, but still nothing.

Any thoughts. I realize it sounds peculiar.

Does it happen in any script or just in one job?
Is the syntax properly color-highlighted?
Is the job type "script JAL" or "script VBS"?

---> It is only happening on two jobs that are very, very similar...developed from the same concenpt. I noticed that it happened after I copied the code to a text editor and then copied it back in. I simply used copy and paste ctrl+C and ctrl+V. Should that matter?

It is not the script that causes disabling but something else. I copied your script to a new job and the validate option was enabled after that.

By the way, does F7 hot-key work?

Try creating a new job and copying the script to that job. Please let us know if this does not help.
