Hi,
I am trying to use SQL Assist with MySQL Workbench, but it doesn't work. If I type ctrl+space I see the standard auto complete from Workbencht.

Which MySQL Workbench version is it?
Is that a 32-bit version?
Does right click me in the editor show SQL Assistant menu items?
Finally, have registered SQL Assistant add-on for the Workbench?

Hello,
it was a 64bit version, I have installed a 32bit now. Now I can format code for example. But SQL Assistant asks me to add a connection (doesn't work in shared mode). Where do I get this addon? I looked through the manual but didn't find anything.

the add-on is not a separate piece of software. When you install SQL Assistant, one of the options in the selection process is to register the add-on for MySQL Workbench. That option needs to be selected or SQL Assistant won't load correctly in the workbench. You can also re-register it from the Options dialog. Please read the manual installed with the software, there is a section describing how to do that.

The connections with workbench are not shared unfortunately, the latest doesn't expose an API for that purpose, so that you would need to choose which connection to use. Another alternative is using SQL Assistant's SQL Code Editor whenever you need to work with the code. Professional Edition is recommended, The Standard Edition comes with a very simple editor supporting one editor / one connection only.
