http://screencast.com/t/km68hH1c

In the screencast above you can see prior to me hitting Ctrl-F11 the bracket matching logic works ok, after I hit Ctrl-F11 there are trailing spaces after the query and when I backspace on them it starts taking off characters a few spaces to the left.

copying and pasting the query out of the ad-hoc query designer and back in reveals the same flaw.

This symptom does not seem to appear if I pause SQL Assistant

thank you very much for your feedback. It appears to be a known issue before reported before, but which our developers failed to reproduce. I asked them again to look into this and provided them with a link to your video file.

Thank you. I hope the video helps illustrate the issue a bit better.

In case the specifics matter:

Access 2003 SP3
Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
SQL Assistant 6.4.208

Here is a follow up from the team. It looks like this issue manifests after code formatting in case tabs are inserted into the query editor. MS Access query editor doesn't like tabs. Please change formatting patterns for MS Access in SQL Assistant options and replace all tabs with spaces. This should resolve the issue with incorrect indenting and with end of line calculations and code editing.
