I want to have JS trigger jobs upon receipt of incoming files on the FTP server. I will have several hundred files. Can I have a job triggered by a file located on another machine? Can JS monitor the other machine without having JS on the FTP machine? You don't need 24x7 on the FTP server ("JS" standards for "JavaScript" job), it can be executed from any other machine provided that a network connection to the FTP server is available. .
