Post Formatting not working Reply with quote
I am evaluating SQL Assistant for my company. I installed it and I am using it. Most features work, but it is not doing any formatting. For example all keywords remain lower case even though both "T-SQL Default style" and "T-SQL Predefined 1" are set to use uppercase keywords. Also It insists on using "T-SQL Default style" but the style I modified to be closer to our coding standards was "T-SQL Predefined 1". When I use the SQL Assistant --> Format menu and click on "T-SQL Predefined 1" nothing happens. If I reopen the menu "T-SQL Default style" is still checked.

I am using sql server 2005 management studio to connect to a sql server 2000. I have set the formatting for sql 2000

Are you changing settings in the SSMS add-on or changing global settings using the the system tray icon?

I had "T-SQL Default style" unchecked in the Code Formatting tab, but I still had "T-SQL Default style" linked to SQL Management studio. It all started working when I selected "T-SQL Predefined 1" SQL Management studio.

It would be nice if there were a warning when this combination of settings was selected.

Thanks.
