Web app console issue |
|
I am trying to login to the webapp console, but I get a connection refused error.
How do I diagnose this issue?

1. Verify you enter correct server name or IP address into the server field
2. Verify you enter correct user name and password. If loginng to a Windows system the user name must be in machine\user or domain\user format
3. The correct version of the scheduler is selected in the dropdown
4. If you still cannot connect verify the scheduler is running in server mode - the server option is checked in Tools/Options menu; Network page
5. Verify the web server can access the scheduler computer (firewall issues)
7. If you activated security options in the scheduler, verify your user name (the exact name used for the login) is entered into the User's list and the selected user group is not Guest.

ah OK,
Here's another issue, when I select distributed server enabled, and click OK, I get an error:
"Error during start remote agent service Distriubuted mode will be disabled"
Any ideas?

OK looks like some of the process hung. Once I killed them and re-started and check the network option. This worked. Do I have to have the remote control option checked as well?

Yes, you need that option for using the web console. The console uses that port to talk to the scheduler.
