Can't log on to web server

Unable to log into the 24x7 webaite

We had this working for a long time
the server it was running on was decommisioned
I am tryng to set up the web server on a different server

I copied the settings from the old server but they will not work on the new server

the page comes up fine, but when i try to log on I get the error
"Unable to send data to the server"

Do you know what i missed in the config?

Sounds like a message reported by IIS server, not by the web interface. Did you check the IIS logs for additional errors?

I checked the IIS app log, no errors
I checked the IIS log, this is what I found

Is the server name entered correctly on the login page? Have you tried using TCP/IP address instead of the name? Is the server running in master mode and setup to listen on port 1096?

yes the server name is correct, I tried the ip address , that didn't work either
(the address resolves fine when I ping the ip address)

as for the next question, not sure how to do that
On the network tab I have
Dist Serv mode enab = unchecked
synch interval = 180
number of failed synch = 2
driver winsock
port/service 1096
location (this server's IP address)

is this be correct?

The "server mode" checkbox must be checked in order for the scheduler to listen for network connections.
